StreetSignal

StreetSignal is a mobile + web app that helps residents report hyperlocal problems (streetlights out, illegal dumping, broken sidewalks, unsafe crossings) and routes them to the right owner with evidence and follow-through. Users submit a photo/video, location, and a short description; the app auto-classifies the issue, suggests the responsible department/utility/HOA, and generates a clean, shareable ticket. It then tracks status with reminders, public timelines, and escalation steps (e.g., re-notify, contact council office, file a formal request). A lightweight “verification” layer lets nearby residents confirm or upvote the same issue to prevent spam and raise priority. For municipalities and community orgs, a dashboard shows hotspots, repeat offenders, and time-to-resolution metrics. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps classify, dedupe, and draft communications, but the core value is accountability and tracking.
