StretchBroker
StretchBroker is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps employees and managers create, scope, and staff short-term stretch assignments inside a company. Managers post “micro-gigs” (2–8 weeks) with clear outcomes, time budget, required skills, and risk level. Employees build a verified skills profile and availability, then apply or get matched. The app forces good scoping: success metrics, stakeholder list, decision rights, and a rollback plan so stretch work doesn’t become unpaid overtime. It also tracks learning evidence (artifacts, feedback, before/after metrics) to convert a stretch assignment into promotion-ready proof. It’s an AI-assisted app: AI helps rewrite vague requests, estimate effort, flag unrealistic timelines, and suggest safer milestones, but approvals stay human. The goal is to make internal mobility practical, not aspirational.
