StretchLedger

StretchLedger is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps employees and managers run stretch assignments like small, trackable projects instead of vague promises. It turns a stretch into a one-page “assignment charter” with scope, success metrics, risks, stakeholders, and a timebox. Weekly check-ins capture outcomes, blockers, and artifacts (docs, links, screenshots) so the work is defensible at promotion time. An AI assistant suggests measurable goals, identifies missing stakeholders, and drafts concise status updates, but the user must confirm everything. A manager view shows a portfolio of stretch work across a team, flags overloading and stalled assignments, and generates promotion-ready summaries tied to competency frameworks. This is not a job board or mentorship marketplace; it’s a proof-and-visibility system that reduces the common failure mode of stretch assignments: invisible work, unclear expectations, and no paper trail when review cycles arrive.
