StretchMatch

StretchMatch is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that helps managers and employees find and run short, high-impact stretch assignments without the usual politics and guesswork. Employees create a skills profile and growth goals; managers post time-boxed “micro-gigs” (2–8 weeks) with clear outcomes, time expectations, and required support. The app scores fit, flags risk (bandwidth, missing sponsor, unclear scope), and generates a one-page assignment brief with success metrics. It also tracks check-ins, blockers, and evidence of impact so the stretch work actually counts in performance reviews. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps draft briefs, clarify scope, and summarize outcomes, but the workflow is simple and auditable. Realistically, it works best in companies that already value internal mobility; it won’t magically fix toxic cultures or managers who hoard opportunities.
