StrideShield
StrideShield is a mobile AI + traditional app that helps runners and field-sport athletes prevent hotspots and blisters by matching socks, insoles, lacing patterns, and shoe fit tweaks to their feet and training conditions. Users take a few photos of their feet and shoes, answer quick questions (terrain, distance, sweat level, prior blister locations), and log a short post-workout “pain map.” The app then recommends specific, practical changes: sock thickness/material, blister tape placement templates, insole volume adjustments, heel-lock lacing, and when a shoe is likely too big/small or broken down. It also builds a personal “friction profile” over time so advice gets more accurate with repeated use. This is not a magical injury-prevention promise; it’s a focused, evidence-informed decision helper that reduces trial-and-error and wasted money on random gear fixes.
