StringSleuth
StringSleuth is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for solar O&M teams that pinpoints which strings/inverters are underperforming and why, using the data they already have. It ingests SCADA/inverter telemetry plus weather and irradiance sources, then runs automated performance tests (PR drift, clipping anomalies, soiling suspicion, shading signatures, tracker misalignment hints). It outputs a ranked “fix list” with confidence scores, estimated kWh/$ recovery, and the minimum on-site checks to confirm. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules/physics-based models for explainability, and AI for anomaly detection and root-cause classification. Brutal reality: you won’t beat incumbents on dashboards; you win by saving real labor and energy loss with credible, auditable recommendations that technicians trust and managers can finance.
