StudioRubric
StudioRubric is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for arts teachers to grade student artwork faster and more consistently. Teachers build reusable rubrics for projects (drawing, ceramics, photography, design), then assess by tapping criteria on a tablet/phone while viewing student submissions. An AI assist can suggest rubric language, flag missing evidence (e.g., no process photos), and generate short, editable feedback aligned to the rubric—without pretending to “judge art” objectively. Students upload final images plus process checkpoints (sketches, iterations, reflections), creating a defensible trail for standards-based grading and parent/admin conversations. The app exports grades and comments to CSV/LMS formats and keeps a portfolio timeline for each student. It’s realistic: it won’t replace critique or taste; it just removes the paperwork and inconsistency that burn teachers out.
