StudioShed

StudioShed is a mobile + web app for music teachers who are drowning in student practice recordings and need to give consistent, actionable feedback without spending their entire evening. Students upload short takes (e.g., 30–90 seconds) tied to an assignment. The app auto-splits the audio into sections, detects tempo drift and obvious pitch issues (where feasible), and generates a structured feedback draft (tone, rhythm, notes, musicality) that the teacher can edit and send in seconds. It also tracks assignment completion, streaks, and “redo” loops so teachers can see who is actually iterating. This is not a magic “AI teacher” replacement; it’s a workflow tool that turns messy audio files and scattered messages into a clean, repeatable review pipeline. It supports rubrics, quick voice notes, and parent-friendly summaries.
