StyleCensus is a mobile + web AI app that identifies residential architecture styles from exterior photos and explains the “why” in plain language. Users snap a photo (or upload a listing image), and the app returns the most likely style (e.g., Craftsman, Colonial Revival, Mid-Century Modern), confidence scores, key visual cues (roofline, window proportions, materials), and common regional variants. It also flags “mixed” or remodeled homes instead of forcing a wrong label, and provides a short checklist to verify in-person. The product is designed for real-world ambiguity: additions, vinyl siding, flipped facades, and bad listing photos. A lightweight “Style Notes” feature lets users save a property, attach observations, and export a one-page style summary for clients or personal reference. Monetization is subscription for pros and pay-per-report for occasional users.
