StyleFence

StyleFence is a web app + browser extension that turns a company’s messy “writing guidelines” into enforceable rules inside Google Docs, Notion, and web editors. Instead of generic grammar fixes, it flags violations of your specific style guide: banned phrases, preferred terminology, capitalization rules, inclusive language, reading level targets, and product naming consistency. Editors can create rule packs per brand, product line, or client, then apply them to documents with a single toggle. It produces a clean “editor report” with actionable fixes and a changelog for approvals. This is an AI + traditional rules hybrid: deterministic rules handle consistency, while AI suggests rewrites only when needed and only within the guide’s constraints. The goal is fewer review cycles, fewer brand mistakes, and less time spent arguing over subjective edits.
