SubfloorScan is a mobile + web app that helps DIYers and small contractors diagnose subfloor readiness before installing LVP, hardwood, or tile. Users log room details, take guided photos, and record a few quick measurements (moisture meter readings, level/flatness checks, squeaks, deflection notes). The app turns that into a clear pass/fail checklist tied to common manufacturer tolerances, plus a prioritized fix plan (patching, leveling compound, underlayment, fastener schedule) and a materials estimate. It also generates a simple “subfloor report” you can save for your records or share with a client/landlord. This is not magic: it won’t replace a pro inspection or guarantee warranty compliance, but it will prevent the most common and expensive DIY flooring mistakes—installing over wet, uneven, or unstable subfloors.
