SubMeter is a mobile + web app that calculates the true cost of your tech subscriptions across monthly, annual, and usage-based plans. It connects to your email receipts and app store purchases to build a clean ledger of subscriptions, then normalizes everything into a single “effective monthly cost” view (including taxes, seat add-ons, and renewal price hikes). For usage-based tools (cloud storage, AI credits, API tools), it tracks invoices and flags when you’re drifting into a higher spend band than expected. The app focuses on clarity over gimmicks: a simple dashboard, renewal calendar, and “what changed” explanations when bills jump. It does not pretend it can cancel everything automatically; instead it provides the exact cancellation path, required steps, and the fastest way to downgrade. It’s a traditional app with light AI for receipt parsing and plan classification.
