SubScout

SubScout is a mobile + web app that helps people cut wasted streaming spend by turning viewing habits into clear cancel/keep recommendations. Users connect email receipts and/or bank transactions to detect subscriptions, then optionally connect streaming profiles (where available) or self-log viewing in 10 seconds. The app shows a simple “Cost per hour watched” score per service, alerts when a subscription renews without recent use, and suggests the cheapest legal way to watch a specific movie/series (rent, one-month sub, bundle, or waitlist). It also supports “rotation plans” (e.g., keep Netflix this month, switch to Max next month) and one-tap cancellation instructions with provider-specific steps. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI summarizes what you actually watched and predicts what you’ll likely watch next month to prevent regret-cancels.
