SuhurShift
SuhurShift is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) for Muslims who work rotating shifts, night shifts, or irregular hours during Ramadan. Most Ramadan apps assume a normal day: suhur before dawn, iftar at sunset, sleep at night. That’s not how nurses, drivers, factory workers, security, and on-call staff live. The app builds a realistic fasting plan around your roster: prayer times, sleep blocks, hydration targets, caffeine cutoffs, and reminders timed to your actual wake windows. It includes a “fatigue risk” check-in and suggests safer meal timing and simple suhur/iftar templates. It also offers a lightweight AI coach that answers practical questions (“I slept through suhur—what now?”) and generates grocery lists based on your shift pattern and dietary needs. It’s not a fiqh authority; it clearly cites sources and encourages consulting local scholars for rulings.
