SutraLens

SutraLens is a mobile + web AI-assisted study companion for Hindu philosophy that turns dense primary texts into structured, source-grounded study paths. Users pick a tradition (Advaita, Vishishtadvaita, Dvaita, Yoga, Sankhya, Mimamsa, Nyaya) and a text (e.g., Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Brahma Sutras, Yoga Sutras). The app provides verse-by-verse reading with multiple translations, short glossaries, and “argument maps” that show premises, objections, and conclusions. An AI tutor answers questions but is constrained to cite the specific verse and selected commentaries; when it can’t, it says so. It also includes spaced-repetition for key Sanskrit terms and a “compare commentaries” view to see where interpreters diverge. This is not a debate arena; it’s a disciplined study tool for serious learners.
