SuttaSit

SuttaSit is a mobile app (with optional web companion) for Buddhists who want mindfulness grounded in early texts rather than generic wellness scripts. It pairs short, curated sutta excerpts with a timer and a simple practice plan (ānāpānasati, mettā, satipaṭṭhāna). After each sit, you log one line: what you actually did and what got in the way. The app then suggests the next session using a lightweight AI coach that stays strictly within a defined source library (no made-up dharma). It also offers “practice mode” audio: minimal guidance, long silences, and bell cues—closer to real sitting. This is not a social network and not therapy; it’s a structured practice tool for people who already care about authenticity. Monetization is straightforward: subscription for curated programs, offline audio packs, and advanced analytics.
