SwapLedger

SwapLedger is a mobile + web app for battery-swapping operators and fleet managers that creates a tamper-evident “battery passport” for every pack and swap event. Each battery gets a QR/NFC identity; every swap logs time, station, operator, pack serial, basic health metrics (SOH, cycles, temperature flags), and custody chain. The goal is to reduce losses from stolen packs, warranty disputes, and “bad battery” blame games between stations, OEMs, and fleets. The app includes a lightweight station check-in flow, exception alerts (e.g., repeated failures, suspicious rapid swaps), and simple reporting for audits and insurance claims. This is not a consumer discovery app; it’s operational plumbing for businesses already doing swaps. Realistically, success depends on integrating with existing station software and BMS data feeds; without that, it becomes manual data entry and adoption will stall.
