SwitchProof

SwitchProof is a mobile + web app that automates the messy reality of changing retail banks: moving direct deposits, subscriptions, bill pays, and recurring transfers. Users connect their old and new accounts, and SwitchProof scans 12 months of transactions to identify recurring inflows/outflows, then generates a step-by-step switch plan with prefilled emails/forms, reminders, and a “shadow period” monitor. During the shadow period, it watches both accounts for any missed or unexpected debits, flags failures, and suggests fixes (e.g., update merchant, keep minimum balance, move autopay date). It also produces a clean “proof pack” (exportable PDF) of changed payees and confirmation notes for personal records. This is not a bank; it’s a switching layer that reduces the fear of overdrafts, late fees, and forgotten subscriptions when moving institutions.
