SyllabusFix

SyllabusFix is a web + mobile app that converts a course syllabus (PDF, doc, or pasted text) into a realistic week-by-week study plan with tasks, readings, practice sets, and spaced-repetition checkpoints. Students upload the syllabus, select their weekly availability, and the app generates a schedule that accounts for exam dates, assignment weights, and prerequisite topics. It also includes a lightweight “coach mode” for tutors: they can review a student’s plan, adjust pacing, and assign targeted practice between sessions. The AI is used only for parsing messy syllabi, extracting dates/topics, and proposing task breakdowns; the plan is still editable and transparent so users can trust it. Integrations with Google Calendar and reminders make it stick. The product is intentionally narrow: planning and follow-through, not a full tutoring marketplace.
