Syllogism

Syllogism is a mobile + web app for building, stress-testing, and sharing philosophical arguments without the usual vague journaling. Users create “argument maps” (claims, premises, objections, rebuttals) and tag them by ethical framework (utilitarian, deontological, virtue ethics, care ethics, etc.). The app includes an AI-assisted critique mode that flags common fallacies, missing premises, equivocations, and weak inferences, then suggests stronger formulations—but it always shows its reasoning and confidence, and you can reject edits. A lightweight library of canonical argument templates (e.g., trolley variants, problem of evil, free will) helps students and debate clubs start quickly. Export maps to PDF/Notion, collaborate in small groups, and keep a personal “belief ledger” that tracks how your views changed over time. It’s designed for clarity, not “winning” arguments.
