SymptomHerd

SymptomHerd is a mobile + web AI-assisted diagnostics and surveillance app for livestock and kennel operations that turns daily observations into actionable health alerts. Staff log simple signs (coughing, diarrhea, appetite drop, lameness), attach short videos, and optionally connect basic sensors (temp, activity) to build a time-series health profile per animal or pen. The app flags abnormal clusters (e.g., multiple calves with elevated temps) and recommends next steps: isolate, sample, call vet, or monitor—without pretending to replace a veterinarian. It also generates a “case packet” for vets: timeline, media, vitals, and treatments already tried, reducing back-and-forth. Reality check: accuracy depends heavily on consistent data entry and good media; the app’s value is operational triage and early detection, not definitive diagnosis. Monetization is per-site subscription with add-ons for integrations and reporting.
