SyncScout is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps film producers and music supervisors quickly identify, contact, and track music licensing for indie and mid-budget productions. It centralizes cue requests, publisher/master owner outreach, quote comparisons, and approval status in one place, replacing messy email threads and spreadsheets. The app provides structured intake forms for editors/directors (scene context, timing, mood, territory, term), generates a clean licensing brief, and maintains a rights audit trail for E&O insurance readiness. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps draft outreach emails, summarize responses, flag missing rights (master vs publishing), and suggest alternative tracks when a quote is too high or a response stalls. Realistically, it won’t “solve” licensing—rights holders still decide—but it will reduce delays, missed paperwork, and last-minute music swaps that wreck post schedules.
