SyncScout
SyncScout is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps music supervisors, editors, and indie labels quickly shortlist tracks that are actually licensable. Users upload a brief (mood, tempo, references, usage, territory, term, budget) and search a catalog that emphasizes rights clarity: split sheets, publisher/writer contacts, PRO info, and pre-cleared one-stop status. The app generates a “clearance packet” per track (who to contact, what’s missing, deal terms template) and tracks outreach and responses in a simple pipeline. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps tag audio, match briefs, and detect likely metadata conflicts, but humans still confirm rights. The goal is not to replace existing libraries; it’s to reduce the time-wasting back-and-forth that kills deadlines and causes supervisors to default to the same big catalogs.
