SyncSofa

SyncSofa is a mobile + web companion that makes watching TV together remotely less painful. It focuses on one job: getting two or more people to the exact same timestamp across Netflix/Disney+/Prime/Hulu without the usual “3…2…1…play” chaos. Create a room, pick the service, and SyncSofa guides everyone through a lightweight calibration (latency check + offset) and then keeps playback aligned with gentle drift correction. It also includes optional low-noise chat reactions and a “pause etiquette” mode that shows who paused and why, reducing passive-aggressive confusion. The app does not pirate content and doesn’t try to replace streaming apps; it works as a companion overlay with deep links and timing control where platforms allow it. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used to detect drift patterns and suggest the best sync method per device/service.
