SynthDocs

SynthDocs is a web app (with optional GitHub/GitLab app) that generates and maintains audit-ready engineering documentation using generative models. It ingests repositories, CI logs, tickets, and architecture diagrams, then produces living artifacts like system overviews, data-flow diagrams, threat models, SOC2 evidence narratives, runbooks, and change logs. The core value is not “writing docs,” but keeping them accurate as code changes: every PR triggers a doc impact analysis, suggested updates, and a reviewer workflow. It also flags missing controls (e.g., no access review process described) and links each claim to evidence (commits, configs, tickets). This is realistic because teams already need these artifacts for SOC2/ISO, incident readiness, and onboarding, but they’re chronically stale. The product focuses on traceability and review, not magical one-click compliance.
