TackleTrace is a mobile + web AI app that helps rugby clubs reduce head-injury risk by turning ordinary phone video into simple, coach-friendly tackle safety reports. A coach records a short tackling drill or match segment, uploads it, and the app auto-detects tackle events, flags risky patterns (high contact point, head proximity, poor body height, late shoulder), and generates a weekly “risk heatmap” by player and drill type. It’s not a medical device and won’t pretend to diagnose concussions; it focuses on technique and training compliance. The MVP prioritizes reliability over fancy graphics: clear clips, timestamps, and a few actionable coaching cues. Clubs can also export a one-page report for parents/administrators to show that safety coaching is being actively monitored. Pricing targets grassroots clubs that can’t justify full performance-analysis suites.
