TagSnap is a mobile + web IT asset management app focused on one painful reality: most asset inventories are wrong because updates are tedious. It lets IT teams create assets in seconds by scanning a QR code and snapping a photo of the device label and purchase receipt; the system extracts serial, model, vendor, and warranty dates, then reconciles them against existing records. A lightweight web console provides a clean source of truth, audit trails, and export to finance/ITSM. The product deliberately avoids trying to be a full ITSM suite; it’s an “inventory accuracy engine” that plugs into what companies already use. Offline mode supports warehouse audits and remote sites. Expect to win where incumbents are heavy, expensive, and slow to deploy, but be aware: you’ll need solid integrations and trust to get adopted.
