TagTrace

TagTrace is a mobile + web app for small-to-mid livestock operations that need reliable animal ID, movement logs, and health events without buying an expensive “full farm suite.” It pairs with low-cost RFID ear tag readers (Bluetooth) and works offline in pens and pastures, then syncs when signal returns. The app focuses on the unsexy but painful workflows: inventory counts, treatments/vaccinations, births/deaths, pen moves, and sale/transport records. It generates audit-ready reports for common regulatory and buyer requirements (traceability, medication withdrawal windows, and chain-of-custody notes). This is a traditional app with light AI: it flags anomalies (missing tags, impossible movements, repeated treatments) and auto-fills records from scan patterns, but it doesn’t pretend to “predict disease” with magic. The goal is fewer mistakes, faster paperwork, and fewer lost animals.
