TagTrace

TagTrace is a mobile + web app for tracking machine components, tooling, and maintenance events using QR/NFC tags. Technicians scan a tag on a motor, pump, gearbox, mold, or fixture to instantly see its service history, manuals, photos, last readings, and open work orders. The app focuses on the messy reality of plants: parts get swapped, paperwork disappears, and tribal knowledge lives in someone’s head. TagTrace makes every component a “living record” with fast logging (voice-to-text notes, photo evidence, and one-tap downtime reasons) and simple exports for audits. It’s not a full CMMS replacement; it’s a lightweight layer that improves traceability and reduces repeat failures. Optional AI features summarize recurring issues and suggest likely root causes based on past logs, but the core value works without AI.
