TakeTriage

TakeTriage is a desktop app (with an optional lightweight web companion) for recording and mixing engineers who waste hours auditioning takes, comps, and punch-ins. It ingests your DAW exports (stems or consolidated takes) and builds a fast “audition map” with loudness-matched playback, click-free switching, and time-synced notes. An AI layer can auto-detect obvious issues (clipping, plosives, harsh sibilance, timing drift, room noise changes) and propose shortlists of the top candidate regions per phrase, but it never pretends to be the producer—final choices stay manual. The core value is ruthless speed: keyboard-first review, instant markers, and exportable comp decision lists back into your DAW as CSV/EDL-style instructions. This is not glamorous; it’s a workflow grinder that saves real billable hours and reduces decision fatigue during vocal and instrument comping.
