TaleTether
TaleTether is a mobile + web storytelling game where small groups build a story together under tight, game-like constraints. Each session uses a “Deck” (genre, tone, setting) plus rotating roles: Narrator, Challenger, and Editor. Players submit short beats (1–3 sentences) on timed turns; the Challenger can play limited “twists” to force conflict, while the Editor enforces continuity using a shared canon board (characters, locations, facts). The app scores stories on coherence, callback usage, and constraint adherence, then exports a clean read-through as a shareable link or PDF. It’s designed for 10–20 minute sessions that don’t devolve into endless threads. Optional AI assists with recap summaries, continuity warnings, and prompt suggestions, but players write the actual story so it still feels like a game, not a chatbot.
