TalkTrack

TalkTrack is a mobile app (with a parent web dashboard) that helps parents of 1–5 year-olds build language skills through short, realistic routines: meals, bath, car rides, bedtime. It listens in short, opt-in “check-ins” (30–90 seconds) and scores the interaction: adult word count, conversational turns, question types, and vocabulary variety. Then it suggests 2–3 micro-prompts tailored to the child’s level (e.g., expand-and-recast, labeling, simple wh-questions) and provides a weekly progress report that’s actually understandable. It’s an AI + traditional app: AI handles speech-to-text, turn-taking detection, and personalized prompt generation; traditional app logic handles routines, reminders, and reporting. It’s not a toy game—it's a coaching tool for caregivers who want evidence-based guidance without reading textbooks or paying for weekly therapy.
