TariffPilot

TariffPilot is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that helps commercial sites with behind-the-meter batteries reduce electricity costs by automatically generating dispatch schedules aligned to complex utility tariffs (TOU, demand charges, ratchets, coincident peaks). Users upload interval meter data (or connect via Green Button/utility APIs where available), enter battery specs and operational constraints, and select goals (bill minimization, backup reserve, solar self-consumption). The app simulates savings under different strategies and produces a day-ahead schedule plus real-time adjustments based on load/solar forecasts. It also generates a monthly “bill audit” report showing what the battery actually achieved versus baseline, with clear, CFO-friendly explanations. Reality check: full automation depends on integration with the battery inverter/EMS; the MVP can start as “recommendations + export to EMS” before deeper integrations.
