TariffPilot is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps importers and e-commerce brands estimate duties, taxes, and landed cost before they ship. Users upload a product list (SKU, description, materials, origin, value) and the app suggests likely HS codes, flags ambiguity, and calculates scenario-based landed costs across destinations. It also generates a “customs-ready” pack: commercial invoice fields, packing list templates, and broker instructions to reduce clearance delays. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI assists HS code suggestions and document field completion, while deterministic rules handle rate tables and calculations. Brutal truth: you won’t beat enterprise customs platforms head-on; you win by being simpler, cheaper, and focused on SMBs who currently guess duties or rely on slow broker replies.
