TariffPilot
TariffPilot is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps fleet operators cut EV charging costs by optimizing around utility tariffs, demand charges, and site constraints. It ingests interval meter data, charger sessions, vehicle availability, and route requirements, then produces a day-ahead charging plan that avoids peak demand windows and exploits off-peak and TOU rates. The AI component flags anomalies (e.g., chargers stuck, unexpected idle fees, unusual kW spikes) and explains cost drivers in plain language for ops and finance. It also simulates “what-if” scenarios: adding chargers, changing depot operating hours, shifting departure times, or enrolling in a different rate plan. This is not a charger network; it’s a cost and operations layer that sits above existing hardware and software. Realistically, success depends on integrations and proving savings quickly with a pilot.
