TariffPulse

TariffPulse is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) that tracks tariff, sanctions, and customs-rule changes and quantifies their impact on your specific import/export flows. Users upload shipment history (or connect ERP/forwarder data), map SKUs to HS codes, and set origin/destination lanes. The app continuously monitors official sources and reputable aggregators, flags relevant changes, and estimates landed-cost deltas by SKU, lane, and supplier. It also highlights compliance risk (e.g., restricted-party hits, sudden documentation requirements) and suggests mitigation options like alternate sourcing countries, rerouting, or reclassification review—clearly labeled as “needs human validation.” The product focuses on being operational: alerts are tied to purchase orders and upcoming shipments, not generic news. Expect messy data and edge cases; the MVP should prioritize accuracy on the most common lanes and HS code mappings rather than pretending to cover everything perfectly.
