TariffSignal is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that tracks and forecasts tariff and pricing impacts across energy commodities and equipment supply chains (solar modules, inverters, batteries, transformers, LNG, refined products). It ingests public filings, customs/tariff schedules, trade remedy cases, and market price feeds, then maps them to your specific bill of materials or procurement categories. Users set watchlists (HS codes, countries of origin, vendors, ports) and get scenario-based cost deltas and lead-time risk flags. The product is a combination traditional + AI: traditional rules/ETL for deterministic tariff math, plus AI to summarize new rulings, extract affected HS codes, and explain “what changed” in plain language. It outputs CFO-ready impact reports, procurement alerts, and an audit trail showing sources and assumptions. Reality check: the core value is speed and defensible documentation, not perfect prediction.
