TariffTally is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that calculates true landed cost for small importers: product cost + freight + insurance + duties/tariffs + brokerage + VAT/GST + port fees, then turns it into per-unit cost and margin impact. Users upload a supplier invoice/packing list and shipping quote, select origin/destination, and the app outputs a clear cost breakdown, suggested HS code candidates, and a “worst-case vs best-case” range. It also stores past shipments, flags cost anomalies, and creates shareable PDFs for finance or partners. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps extract line items from documents and suggest HS codes, but the core value is deterministic math, audit trails, and repeatable templates. The goal is not to replace customs brokers; it’s to stop small businesses from making unprofitable purchasing decisions due to hidden import costs.
