TariffTrail is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that monitors trade agreement updates, tariff schedules, rules-of-origin changes, and customs notices for the specific HS codes and country pairs your business uses. Instead of reading long legal PDFs, users get a plain-language change summary, effective dates, and a “who is impacted” view mapped to their product catalog and shipment lanes. The app maintains an audit trail of what changed, when you were notified, and what actions were taken—useful for compliance and internal sign-off. It also includes a lightweight scenario calculator to estimate landed-cost impact when a preference program is suspended or a new quota applies. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps extract and summarize changes from official sources, while deterministic rules handle calculations and alerts. It’s not a magic autopilot—users still validate decisions—but it cuts monitoring time dramatically.
