TariffTriage is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small and mid-size importers reduce costly customs errors by validating product classification and landed-cost inputs before filing. Users upload a commercial invoice/packing list, map items to a product catalog, and get a “risk report” highlighting likely HS code mismatches, missing required fields, suspicious country-of-origin claims, and duty/VAT estimate ranges. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI extracts line items and suggests HS candidates, but the workflow forces human confirmation and keeps an audit trail. The app also stores prior rulings, broker feedback, and internal decisions so teams stop re-litigating the same classification every shipment. This is not a magic ‘auto-classify everything’ tool; it’s a practical pre-check layer that reduces rework, broker back-and-forth, and surprise assessments.
