TariffTuner is a web + mobile energy management app that turns messy utility tariffs into actionable schedules for small commercial buildings. You connect interval meter data (or upload CSVs) and enter a few controllable loads (HVAC setpoints, water heaters, EV chargers, refrigeration defrost cycles). The app simulates your bill under your current rate and alternative rate plans, then generates a weekly “dispatch plan” to reduce demand charges and shift usage into cheaper windows. It flags the few hours each month that drive most demand costs and recommends specific, low-risk operational changes (e.g., stagger start times, pre-cool strategies, EV charging caps). It also tracks whether changes actually reduced billed kW and dollars, not just kWh. This is not a full building automation system; it’s a pragmatic layer that works with what most SMBs already have: meters, thermostats, and spreadsheets.
