TariffWatt

TariffWatt is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns messy energy-market signals into a practical, decision-ready dashboard for businesses. It aggregates wholesale power prices, fuel benchmarks (gas/coal), grid congestion indicators, and policy/regulatory events (tariffs, carbon pricing updates, capacity market changes) and links them to expected cost impacts by region. Users set their load profile, locations, and contract type (fixed, indexed, block-and-index), then receive alerts when market moves or policy news is likely to change their next bill or renewal leverage. This is not a trading terminal; it’s a procurement and budgeting tool that explains “what changed, why it matters, and what to do next.” It includes scenario snapshots (e.g., heatwave + gas spike) and a simple renewal calendar to avoid last-minute contract decisions. Data quality and transparency are prioritized over flashy predictions.
