TaxLotFi

TaxLotFi is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that tracks crypto cost basis at the lot level across CEXs, wallets, and DeFi activity, then suggests realistic tax actions (harvest losses, avoid wash-sale-like patterns, optimize holding periods) without pretending to be a CPA. The core value is reconciliation: it ingests on-chain transactions, exchange exports, and common DeFi events (LP adds/removes, staking rewards, airdrops, bridges), then flags ambiguities and asks the user to confirm classifications. It produces audit-friendly reports, per-asset lot history, and export files for TurboTax/TaxAct/CPA workflows. It’s an AI-assisted app: AI helps categorize messy DeFi transactions and explains what it did, but the user can override everything. Brutal truth: accuracy and edge cases are hard; the product wins by being transparent, conservative, and fast to correct.
