TaxLotPilot is a web + mobile AI-assisted robo advisor focused on after-tax performance for everyday investors who already have brokerage accounts. Instead of trying to beat the market, it automates tax-loss harvesting, tax-lot selection, and smart rebalancing across ETFs while respecting wash-sale rules and the user’s real-world constraints (RSUs, concentrated positions, cash needs). Users connect accounts, set a risk target and tax profile, and the app generates an “action plan” with exact trades and timing. For DIY users, it can run in “recommendation mode” (you approve trades). For eligible users, it can run in “managed mode” via a broker/dealer integration. The product is brutally practical: it saves money only when there are taxable gains/losses to manage, and it won’t matter for low-balance or tax-advantaged-only investors.
