TaxLotPro is a mobile + web app that connects to your brokerage and simulates the tax impact of selling stocks/ETFs before you place the trade. It highlights which tax lots you’re actually selling (FIFO vs specific ID), estimates short/long-term gains, flags wash-sale risk, and suggests a “least-tax” sell plan you can export as instructions for your broker. It also tracks ETF distributions and cost-basis adjustments, and generates a clean, audit-friendly report you can hand to your CPA. This is not a trading app; it’s a decision layer that reduces nasty surprises at tax time. The AI component explains tradeoffs in plain English (e.g., “This sale likely creates $3,240 short-term gains; here’s a lower-tax alternative”) but keeps calculations deterministic and reviewable.
