TaxoDrift
TaxoDrift is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that monitors how your taxonomy and ontology are actually used across content, tickets, product catalogs, and knowledge bases. It flags “drift” events: new terms emerging without governance, synonyms being used inconsistently, categories that are overloaded, and relationships that no longer match reality. Instead of trying to replace your existing tools, it connects to them (Confluence, SharePoint, Zendesk, ServiceNow, CMSs) and produces a weekly drift report plus actionable change proposals. It includes an AI-assisted suggestion layer that clusters new terms, proposes merges/splits, and highlights potential ontology relationship conflicts, but keeps humans in control with review workflows and audit trails. The goal is pragmatic: keep navigation, search, analytics, and downstream automation from silently degrading as the organization changes.
