TaxoLint

TaxoLint is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that continuously audits your organization’s taxonomy/ontology and flags problems before they break search, tagging, and analytics. It connects to common sources like SharePoint, Confluence, Google Drive, and your CMS, then inspects labels, synonyms, hierarchy depth, orphan nodes, duplicate concepts, and inconsistent naming rules. It generates a “lint report” with severity, suggested fixes, and impact estimates (e.g., which pages/assets will be misclassified). An AI assistant proposes merges, renames, and missing synonyms, but changes require human approval and can be rolled out as pull requests to a versioned taxonomy repo. The product is intentionally narrow: it doesn’t try to be your full ontology editor; it’s the quality gate that keeps existing taxonomies healthy and governable over time.
