TaxTrailHQ is a web app (with optional desktop uploader) that continuously collects, normalizes, and links tax-relevant evidence across an enterprise’s systems—ERP, billing, payroll, banking, and procurement—then maps it to jurisdictions, entities, and tax positions. Instead of scrambling during audits, teams get a living “evidence ledger” with source-of-truth links, change history, and reviewer sign-offs. It flags missing documents (e.g., exemption certificates, VAT invoices), inconsistent fields (ship-to vs bill-to, tax IDs), and risky transactions that don’t match configured tax rules. It exports audit packages by period/jurisdiction and supports role-based access for internal tax, finance, and external advisors. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional pipelines for data integrity and controls, with AI used for document classification, field extraction, and anomaly detection. Realistically, the hard part is integrations and trust—so the product focuses on narrow, high-value connectors first.
