TenderGuard

TenderGuard is a web + tablet POS add-on (iPad/Android) that reduces card-not-present and card-present fraud at the moment of payment. It plugs into existing POS systems via receipt/webhook APIs and prompts cashiers only when risk is high: ID check, signature capture, partial card verification, or manager approval. It also flags suspicious patterns across stores (repeat declines, rapid refunds, split tenders, gift card drains) and produces dispute-ready evidence packets (receipt, cashier ID, device, timestamp, customer acknowledgement) to fight chargebacks. This is not a full POS replacement—because competing head-on with Square/Toast/Shopify is a losing game. Instead it’s a lightweight “risk layer” that retailers can deploy in days, with clear ROI: fewer chargebacks, fewer fraudulent refunds, and less shrink tied to the register.
