TestMatrix

TestMatrix is a web app (with optional desktop wrapper) that helps QA leads build a realistic test plan by turning requirements, user stories, and architecture notes into a traceable coverage matrix. You import tickets from Jira/Azure DevOps or paste specs, then define risk areas, platforms, environments, and test types (smoke, regression, exploratory, accessibility). The app generates a draft plan structure, but forces human confirmation with checklists and explicit assumptions so it doesn’t hallucinate coverage. It highlights gaps like missing acceptance criteria, untestable requirements, unclear dependencies, and environment constraints, and it estimates effort using a simple, editable model (team size, automation level, historical velocity). Output is a clean plan doc plus a coverage matrix and a “what we are not testing” section that stakeholders actually read. It’s not a full test management suite—by design—so setup stays lightweight.
